The Journal of the Society for Asian Humanities (JOSAH) is the oldest journal of Asian Studies currently published in Australia, having been published continuously since 1960 (until 2021, as the Journal of the Oriental Society of Australia). The journal is published by the Australian Society for Asian Humanities (formerly the Oriental Society of Australia), and its first editor was Professor A.R. Davis. The society, which is dedicated to the promotion of knowledge about Asian humanities in Australia, also offers a Seminar Series and an Emerging Scholar Essay competition.
